Rohingya News Agency-(radioaustralia): Over 90 asylum seekers, including women and children, are languishing on the remote Indonesian island of Pulau Liran, after being refused asylum in East Timor.
The people had landed in East Timor after their Indonesian-crewed boat got into trouble en route to Australia.
The asylum seekers say they were forcibly evicted.
Former president Jose Ramos Horta says he's been "saddened" by Dili's handling of the case, arguing that the asylum seekers should have been given refuge.
