Dear All Brothers,
Assalamu Alikum,
3rd of June 2013 will be one year of the massacre start date in Arakan State. Many of our fellow Rohingyas were slaughtered, burnt alive, shot dead, tortured to death and still ongoing. Many of our Rohingya women and girls were raped and still ongoing. Many other fellow Rohingya were drowned in the sea and river while they escaped the massacre and some were dying due to starvation.
In remembrance of all those above, BROUK is organising an event on the first week of June 2013.
The aim of this event is to remind ourselves what our fellow Rohingyas already suffered and still suffering now. We need to keep reminding ourselves by gathering all together once a year to let ourselves and our children know. We need to offer our prayer collectively at least once a year to those who were already dead and who were still suffering.
BROUK would like to request to all other Rohingya Organisations around the world to join us to organise a similar event on the first week of June in the country where you are.
With Regards
on behalf of BROUK
